Discover the life behind the mythical "Lady with the lamp", Florence Nightingale, with 200 Objects, People and Places: Leader, Icon and Pioneer exhibition at the Florence Nightingale Museum.
Celebrate the bicentenary of the activist’s birth as you learn about the stories, struggles and challenges of Nightingale’s life showcased through 200 objects associated or owned by the nurse.
What was Florence's like in real life, and what were her obsessions and achievements? Find answers to all your burning questions as you ponder at the adorned writing case, a medicine chest, the famous Florence Nightingale lamp (carried by her during the Crimean War), her first self-designed nursing uniform and heaps more.
Please note that this exhibition is free upon entry to the Florence Nightingale Museum.
