About

Follow the poignant story of Jamie and Cathy, as their turbulent five-year relationship ebbs and flows through heartfelt songs in The Last Five Years at the Vaudeville Theatre.

What is The Last Five Years about?

The story focuses on Jamie, a rising novelist who hit bullseye in his writing career, and Cathy, his partner and soon wife, who struggles to find her feet in her acting career.

Chart their five-year relationship as it experiences ups and downs in a uniquely structured musical, told from both perspectives: Jamie’s, from the beginning of their young love affair; and Cathy’s, from the end of their marriage.

This award-winning show features a touching repertoire composed by Jason Robert Brown, with hits including Still Hurting, Goodbye Until Tomorrow and I Can Do Better Than That.

Coming to London’s West End after a 10-year break, the limited run of this heart-tugging play is one you won’t want to miss.
