The Diamond Jubilee Tea Salon’s afternoon tea features a choice of finger sandwiches with fillings including coronation chicken and smoked salmon with tartare sauce; warm scones with clotted cream, strawberry preserve and lemon curd; and a selection of freshly baked cakes, including a slice of Battenberg, which Fortnum’s have been serving since 1926.
Wash it all down with a pot of Fortnum’s famous tea, or pay extra for a glass of bubbly. Other refreshing drinks on offer include jugs of homemade lemonade and iced tea.
Also on the menu is a sweet-free savoury afternoon tea and a nourishing High Tea, featuring a choice of hot dishes instead of sandwiches, such as scotch eggs, beef wellington, eggs benedict, and lobster omelette. There’s also a children’s menu if you have little ones in tow.
