About

Enjoy an engaging programme of visual and live arts within the imposing neoclassical architecture of Somerset House.

From Cranach, Rubens and Botticelli to Manet, Cézanne and Van Gogh, the world-renowned Courtauld Gallery has iconic Impressionist and Post-Impressionist masterpieces, as well as numerous other important paintings from the Renaissance through to the 20th century.

The Embankment Galleries offers a programme of ideas-driven exhibitions, focusing on a broad range of contemporary arts from fashion and architecture to design and photography.

At the heart of the building, the Edmond J. Safra Fountain Court is a spectacular venue for open-air films and concerts in the summer, and an ice rink in the winter. With family events, cafés and a restaurant, Somerset House is a thriving centre for inspiration and relaxation in London's West End.
