Although London theatres are temporarily closed for live performances due to the coronavirus outbreak, there are plenty of ways you can enjoy London’s current, past and new theatre online, from Shakespearean classics to hard-hitting comedy.

  • Relive the world online premiere of The Beast Will Rise, an online collection of monologues by Philip Ridley.
  • Watch the National Youth Theatre's Sunday Sessions from young musicians on its YouTube channel and join its free Wednesday workshops on TikTok to hone your acting skills. Wednesdays at 5pm until 5 Sep
  • Catch up on plays written and performed during lockdown from deaf and disabled playwrights and performers, as part of Graeae theatre company’s Crips Without Contraints series.

  • Explore themes of workplace fear with dark comedy Contractions, performed in British Sign Language and spoken English by Deafinitely Theatre at New Diorama.
